Mayer Active (Run & Ride) started organising and promoting races back in 2012. A chance opportunity to host a regional MTB event started an events company that has gone on to promote a multitude of different events of various sizes all over the country.

Events include 24hr & 12hr MTB Endurance Races, Road Sportive’s, XC MTB Races, Bike, Running Shoe & Accessory Demo Days & Trail Runs. We were even part of the event team for the 2022 Commonwealth Games!

From social or team building meet-ups for 10 people to working alongside governing bodies to organise National Championships for thousands of participants.

We’re incredibly passionate about what we do and the service we provide to our customers. Although we’re a business, putting on the biggest and most popular event isn’t our primary focus. For us to organise an event we need to be excited about it. Something we’d enjoy doing ourselves. We feel it’s our duty to encourage others into the sports we love... Running & Cycling in the outdoors.
